PROJECT DESCRIPTION. At the end of 2017, a major automobile manufacturer in Maranello (MO) requested our intervention to build a new bodywork warehouse, connecting it with an automatic robot to the painting building.

THE PROBLEM. The intervention had to take place in a very tight space between the painting building and the pipe rack, imposing the transverse dimension in which two rows of bodyworks had to be accommodated, in addition to the central aisle occupied by the automation.

THE SOLUTION. We designed a braced steel structure with transverse braces, while in the longitudinal direction, the resistance to horizontal actions was entrusted to a frame, so that there were no impediments to accommodate the bodyworks on the left and right of the automation.
